June 2026

  • New Direct messages between league players — open the messenger, pick someone on your league roster, and start a private conversation. Read receipts show when the other person has seen your message.
  • New Web push notifications for new messages. Turn them on from the bell icon in the messenger header so you can get alerts even when Chalksta is not open in your browser.
  • Better Messenger inbox tools — search and filter your mailboxes, load more messages in pages, open links inside a message with one click, and drag the corner of the reply box to make it taller.
  • New Captain team broadcasts — captains and delegates can send one message to the whole team from the messenger, with an option to include spares on the roster.
  • Better Team pages now have a toggle to show or hide spares on the roster, so you can keep the list focused on regular roster players when you want.
  • Better Survivors tournaments show the champion more clearly on the public match board when a tournament is finished.
  • Fixed Facebook sign-in on phones and in-app browsers — login should be more reliable when you are not on a desktop browser.

May 2026

  • New Chalksta Messenger replaces the old notifications popup. You now have separate Inbox, Sent, and Archive mailboxes with a fuller messaging experience.
  • New League announcements can appear as a sticky banner on the home page. You can mark messages read or unread, and search your mail by text or date.
  • New Contact Chalksta from inside the messenger when you need help from the league platform team. Player Rankings (leaderboards) is a new page for weekly and lifetime highlight stats.
  • Better Compact player cards on stats and team pages — player photos and key info take less space and are easier to scan on phone and desktop.
  • New Player game totals modal — open a player’s games grouped by division and by opponent skill level to see how they have performed in different contexts.
  • Better The header ticker can show live scores and highlight your match when you follow a team or player. The schedules page has a clearer launch flow and shows who to contact if your login is not linked to a player profile.
  • Fixed Google and Facebook sign-in in more browsers, including Facebook’s in-app browser, so fewer people get stuck at login.

April 2026

  • New Header ticker on hub pages — a scrolling strip of upcoming matches, live scores, and quick links so you can jump to what matters without digging through menus.
  • Better Player standings highlight your row and favorites; division schedules link more smoothly into scoresheets; spectator scoresheets show a live badge while a match is in progress.
  • Better Elimination brackets support drag-to-pan on large draws; player search gives quicker feedback while results load; sign-in and session handling are more dependable across Google and Facebook.

June 2026

  • New Usage data tools for Chalksta platform admins — review API traffic, flag suspicious IPs, and block abusive clients before they hit your handlers.
  • New Messenger usage metrics and web push setup in admin — see how messaging is being used and configure push notification keys for the league.
  • Better Delete an entire schedule and its scores in one confirmed step, with a list of affected matches shown first. Move a tournament to another division without rebuilding it from scratch.
  • Better Auto-reconciler improvements — warns when home and away captain sheets disagree; can auto-submit official scores when at least one captain sheet is complete (preferring home when both are done), with warnings for unusual cases. Admins can delete official scores from the scoresheet designer after a clear confirmation.

May 2026

  • New Messenger v2 admin — manage beta testers, send league broadcasts, and post Chalksta-wide announcements. Player visibility rules let you control which players appear on public pages.
  • New Rebuild leaderboards from admin home with live progress while long runs complete.
  • Better Division delete now lists related records that block removal before you try. Score Manager 2.0 is the main score tab; legacy score tabs were removed.
  • Better Survivors admin board — edit player names inline, shuffle pairings before assigning tables, and show the champion more clearly when a tournament ends.
  • New Tournament QR code for player self-registration at the venue. Superadmins can bulk-change tournament open/closed status across the league.

April 2026

  • New CPR preview for a single player and week — TRS admins can look up how CPR would calculate for any day in a target week without posting scores.
  • New Merge duplicate CPR / TRS player records so split identities can be combined into one profile.
  • Better Scoresheet designer shows whether a submission came from a captain sheet or an official entry. CPR-based handicaps can refresh from live CPR when saved game data is older than expected.
